VESTA

                                     By Woz        1984

They say not to look on Vesta, --------  to men

But she was standing here in England half clad  out on the plain

And I saw her in her beauty with no attendant to her train

They say men must not look on her if Vesta I unveiled

But her eye was on me, too late, I felt my heart  impaled

They say she sees the future, hopes, fears, your very soul

The doings of the mighty, of the world the very whole

In her pendant is the prophecy, the vision's in the ember

Men's encoded destiny, might death be a contender

Do be careful, be warned, one might only see the flame

For Vesta is of the fire, it is her great acclaim

And you might be going nowhere, such knowledge can enthral

Many men find death; they have no future life at all.

Thus they say not to look on Vesta, --------  to men.
